Before starting Loden, Fraze and Associates, Scott Loden spent many years in the commercial development and residential property management industries. When given the opportunity to join Tampa public accounting firm Broyles and Rooks, PA, Scott took advantage of the chance. In this small firm environment, he was able to see how a two partner firm can have great success and deep productive relationships with clients. With a diverse client base including doctors, construction companies, farming and cattle, it was a fast track for Scott’s development as a young accountant.
After a few years, Scott moved to Kirkland, Russ, Murphy and Tapp (now CBIZ MHM LLC) a large regional firm. In an environment where the partners were all former KPMG CPAs, there was a strong commitment to client satisfaction and a high level of competency. They had an efficient system for work papers and documentation, which they used to develop a unique and successful firm.
Taking the experiences and lessons he acquired from the firms he worked for, Scott then branched out and created Loden, Fraze and Associates, P.A. The firm was on its way with a foundation of determination, integrity and a whole lot of passion.
Scott is a very relational individual who wants each and every client to be successful while obtaining true balance in life. His focus is on new development of clients and areas of service, along with managing the tax side of the firm. Thinking outside the box and using real world techniques, he has developed a strong reputation for insightful tax strategy, technical proficiency, and having the client’s needs and priorities first. Scott is also involved in the financial services provided by the firm and advises in the areas of financial planning, market investments and insurances (life, health, and all the others).
Scott is a life-long resident of the Tampa Bay area and is involved in various community events throughout the surrounding areas. He continues to serve on various boards and civic organizations, and is very active in youth sports.
