Jon Fraze began his accounting career with a yacht builder in the Tampa Bay area. After 12 years as CFO, he became the CFO of a privately held construction company and worked to take them into the public exchanges.

In 2008, he turned his attention to the world of public accounting and joined Scott Loden to form Loden, Fraze & Associates. Bringing his detailed knowledge of construction and manufacturing accounting practices, he helped put the firm in a unique position to offer services that very few public firms are able to provide – Interim CFO and Controller for Hire work.

Jon is highly regarded for his CFO and Controller for Hire work. He has a passion for systems and implementation, and enjoys working with clients onsite to help them improve their processes. As a trusted advisor, he looks to develop relationships with the firm’s clients that extend outside the accounting world. By understanding the needs of the clients, he can best serve to help them maximize their financial stability. His purpose is to help clients become successful and reach their goals.

Within the firm, Jon oversees the CFO/Controller for Hire services, along with attestation services (Audit, Review, Compilation and Agreed upon Procedures reporting). In addition, he is directly involved with the monthly/quarterly/annually accounting and bookkeeping services work.

Jon is a life-long resident of St. Petersburg and is involved in church and community activities.
